A spokesman for the Speedway Control Bureau (SCB) has confirmed that on Thursday 18th April the Oxford Promotion were in contact with both the SCB and the Premiership CEO, regards Rohan Tungate and his travel issues to the UK to enable him to attend the Oxford Spires fixture at Ipswich that evening.
Unfortunately, due to this issues Mr Tungate was unable to get to the UK in time to attend this fixture, and the Oxford team only option was the "No Facility" regulation to cover his absence.
Failure to Attend a fixture is a Breach of the Regulations, therefore the sanctions on Mr Tungate will be discussed and no further comment from the SCB will be made until after these discussions have taken place.
SCB STATEMENT: BERWICK v GLASGOW

Following the Anti - Doping tests that took place at Berwick Speedway on Saturday 6th April 2024 the SCB have received the Laboratory Test Result for Glasgow Rider Lee Complin.
Mr Complin test result shows a positive reading for a banned substance therefore breaching SCB Regulation -
017.2 Breach of Rules
k) An Anti - Doping Offence that is the occurrence of the anti - doping rule violation -
1. in the presence of a prohibited substance or its metabolites or markers in the body.
Due to this Breach Mr Complin SCB Registration has been suspended with immediate effect for a period of 30 days as of the 12th April 2024 pending a SCB Disciplinary Court Hearing.
Mr Complin Championship Club Glasgow have been informed that they will be entitled to a facility for a period of 28 days from the 1st date the facility is taken as per SCB Regulation 010.5 p)
SCB STATEMENT: LEICESTER v KING'S LYNN

The members of the Speedway Control Bureau attended a meeting on the 9th April 2024 where the decisions of the referee at the Leicester v Kings Lynn fixture on the 21st March 2024 were discussed.
The members viewed the decisions and believed that the 1 match suspension was sufficient, and the referee will now be back active on the referee's panel.
No further comment will be made.

At the Berwick v Glasgow BSN fixture on Saturday 6th April 2024, four riders, two from each team had been randomly selected for an Anti Doping test.
Glasgow rider Lee Complin was one of the four riders selected and unfortunately Mr Complin test had comeback as a non - negative result, therefore has been excluded from the event.
The sample test will now be sent to the Laboratory for further analysis.
Mr Complin SCB Registration will be suspended until the results have been confirmed from the Laboratory.

The SCB have investigated a number of racing incidents and the referee decisions from the Premiership fixture between Leicester and Kings Lynn on the 21st March 2024.
This investigation will be discussed at the next meeting of the SCB members which takes place in early April.
No further comment will be made until the conclusion of the investigation.
